The Small Business Administration (SBA) has awarded the Heritage Construction with 8(a) certification status for a period of nine years. Designed to assist small, woman, or minority-owned businesses compete with larger and more established enterprises; SBA 8(a) program participation will give Heritage Construction greater access to the federal procurement market.  Owned by Hyder Bhatti, HC is a performance-driven contractor that manages and delivers projects on time and within budget. HC serves the federal government, tribal governments, and corporate clients throughout the United States.

 

“Our company is the first construction company to be awarded SBA 8(a) certification in since 2017,” said Bhatti. "Participation in the SBA 8(a) program is the next logical step for Heritage Construction and has already taken advantage of the opportunities the certification allows and is hitting the ground running in efforts to obtain more work and create additional revenue streams.
